Description

We Wish You a Merry Christmas for string quartet.

A cheerful, festive string quartet arrangement of the traditional English Christmas carol “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” Scored for two violins, viola, and cello, this version is ideal for Christmas concerts, school performances, church services, holiday markets, background music, and festive chamber music programs.

The familiar melody remains clear and recognizable, supported by warm harmonies and lively ensemble writing. All four string parts contribute to the musical texture, making the arrangement engaging for the players while remaining practical for seasonal performances.

This edition is particularly suited to intermediate-level string quartets, advanced student ensembles, music school groups, amateur chamber ensembles, and community performances. It works well as an opening piece, encore, short interlude, or part of a larger Christmas or winter concert program.
